Dr. Kelly understands the importance of a pet's emotional well-being. She has done extensive training in animal handling and behavior and has become certified in Low Stress Handling and Fear Free techniques. This training has enabled her to provide low stress care for patients in clinics in past years and now in the comfort of their own homes!

About Dr. Kelly
Dr. Kelly was born and raised in Beloit, WI. She attended undergrad at UW-La Crosse and veterinary school at UW-Madison. After graduation, she moved to San Diego, CA, to complete an internship in small animal medicine and surgery. After 8 years of amazing weather, she returned to the "tundra" and her hometown. Six years later, Dr. Kelly started Riverside Veterinary Care, a house call service for pets.

Dr. Kelly absolutely loves veterinary medicine, with specific interests in behavior and end of life care. Her love for her geriatric patients compelled her to become certified in animal hospice and palliative care as well as medical acupuncture.

When she is not seeing patients, she enjoys spending time with her husband, two boys, and her furry family (black Lab, ZuZu, yellow Lab, George, and two cats, Clarence and Merry). She also likes to exercise (weightlifting and running), read books, and spend time outdoors.
